COVID-19: Policies & Expectations
IMPORTANT UPDATE: With the current outbreak of Coronavirus, ikoi Spa is committed to supporting the health, safety and wellbeing of all our clients when you visit us as well as the health, safety and wellbeing of our team members. We are following the advice of the Ministry of Health and are reviewing the situation regularly and wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about the actions we’re taking to keep you and our staff safe.
We will also need your support to keep our spa clean and safe. We ask that you continue to use good handwashing and hygiene procedures, good coughing etiquette and to reschedule your appointment if you are feeling unwell.
Some of the steps we have / are taking to protect you and our staff:
We have added a booking instruction to our online booking process explaining our expectations around sickness.
We have posted on our social media channels to let clients know of our rebooking policy.
We have a sign on our front door and at reception outlining our appointment policies and expectations around sickness.
We provide hand sanitiser in the lobby, in reception and in the lounge area and ask all visitors to use it before entering our spa facility and as deemed necessary.
Our internal door to the reception area is kept closed. Visitors and clients are required to fill in a contact tracing form and confirm that they are not feeling unwell before they may enter the spa.
We will ask anyone looking unwell to leave and to reschedule their appointment for when they are symptom-free.
We have always understood the importance of good cleaning and hygiene for our clients – we have reviewed and updated our cleaning and sanitising plan for our day spa to ensure more frequent cleaning and with extra care – especially on high contact surfaces like our EFTPOS pin pads, relaxation area, door handles and bathroom taps.
We can assure you we are taking the same precautions with all our staff at ikoi Spa – supporting them with clear health and hygiene protocols in the spa, as well as the information they require if they need to stay at home if they are feeling unwell for any reason.
Our therapists will wear a face mask when treating clients.
We are committed to keeping you up to date with any changes that we need to make during this time. For timeliness, this will be done via our social and email channels.
We hope the measures we have and are taking provide confidence that you are able to continue to enjoy our spa services in a clean and safe environment – there’s nothing better to help you reduce stress during these uncertain times than treating yourself, or a loved one, to an ikoi Spa treatment.

– The deposit will be refunded for any cancellation or rescheduling with more than 24 hours notice.
– Deposits are non-refundable for no shows, cancellations or rescheduling with less than 24 hours notice.
Treatment prices and services are subject to change.
If you must cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give 24 hours notice prior to your scheduled appointment time to avoid a 50% charge. “No-shows” will be charged the full treatment amount. If you are running late, a phone call is always appreciated. Your arrival time will determine the length of your treatment time, which will end as scheduled to ensure the next guests may begin promptly.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to make full use of our spa facilities, as well as to relax and enter the peaceful, tranquil environment of ikoi Spa. As a courtesy to the next guest, late arrivals will limit your treatment time to ensure other clients are not delayed. Full value of your treatment will still be applied.
If you have health concerns or are pregnant, please be sure to notify our spa staff when booking your treatment. Prior to each treatment guests are requested to complete the necessary consultation form. All information provided will be kept confidential and will only be used in order to provide a better spa service to you.
Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to ensure a peaceful atmosphere. Clients under 16 years of age wanting a spa treatment are allowed to do so under parent supervision. Please mention at the time of booking.
Complimentary disposable slippers are provided for you to change into on your arrival at ikoi Spa. This is to ensure maximum comfort throughout the duration of your spa experience, as well as for health and hygiene purposes. You are welcome to take these with you when you departure.
Our aim is to provide a tranquil environment, therefore we politely request that mobile phones and other electronic devices are turned off or switched to silent for the duration of your visit. We also request clients to keep their voices down as to avoid disturbing other clients.
ikoi Spa is open 6 days a week from Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00am – 8:00pm. We are closed on Mondays. Online bookings are available 24 hours, 7 days a week via our website. We always endeavor to reply your enquires as soon as possible.
